Range of Cylindrical, Spherical, Rectangular Inflatable Stoppers and Oil Chem Stoppers
The Pipestoppers™ Division of Huntingdon Fusion Techniques manufactures a range of standard as well as non-standard Inflatable Stoppers for pipes, ducts and other shaped orifices.
The range includes Spherical, Cylindrical, Rectilinear and Oil Chem models as well as heat protected stoppers for use up to 300°C (572°F).
These versatile Inflatable Stoppers are used to service a wide variety of industrial applications.
Most commonly used for:
Debris stopping during machining operations.
Leak testing of pipework systems in commercial, domestic and industrial applications.
Low pressure hydrostatic tests.
On-site thermoforming of bends in ducting and conduit materials.
Fibre-optic construction projects.
Debris and animal barriers for overnight protection of pipelines.
Weld purging to isolate volumes in tanks, to minimise gas purging volumes.
Plumbing operations.
All HFT Pipestoppers™ Inflatable Stoppers are manufactured with a strong internal inflatable bag made to the required shape and covered in a waterproof sewn polyurethane coated nylon for low friction and to prevent the production of static electricity or accidental sparking.
The standard range of Pipestoppers™ Inflatable Stoppers are available for immediate delivery, in a variety of shapes with sizes ranging from 25 to 96" (25 to 2440 mm).

All sizes are available from 25 to 2440 mm (1 to 96") diameter.
Manufactured using a high quality robust latex inner tube and polyurethane impregnated nylon fabric outer cover.
Supplied fitted with a length of flexible inflation hose and sealing valve.
Cylindrical Inflatable Stoppers that do not invert in a pipe.
Spherical Inflatable Stoppers that are ideal for inserting through a small opening and then inflated to seal a larger diameter pipe.
Rectilinear Inflatable Stoppers for ducting.
Custom designed shapes and sizes and accessories can be supplied to order as 'Specials'!
Inflatable Stoppers are available with heat resistant covers to protect them against high temperatures.

Pipestoppers™ Inflatable Rectangular StopperEach Inflatable Stopper comes with an inflation hose fitted with a schrader valve.
Pipestoppers™ Inflatable Stoppers are totally collapsible and lightweight making them easy to handle on site and to ship around the World.
Safe working pressure.
Unbraced is 0.2 bar, (2.8 psi) (200 mb) (20 kpa).
Foot pumps can be supplied where required.
Each Inflatable Stopper is made specifically to suit the ambient conditions.
Pipestoppers™ Inflatable Stoppers are usually supplied as standard with no through tube. Specials as well as Stoppers with through tubes are available as non-standard.
1 to 24" (25 to 600 mm) Inflatable Stoppers have a 1.4 m hose length, 10 mm ID, 12 mm OD and are fitted with a standard plastic valve with a BSP connection.
25 to 96" (650 to 2440 mm) Inflatable Stoppers have a 2 m inflation hose length, 10 mm ID, 12 mm OD and are fitted with a metal ball valve with a BSP connection.
For Oil Chem Stoppers, generally the un-supported hold back pressure is approximately 20% of the inflation pressure of the actual Oil Chem Stopper.

All Inflatable Stoppers are manufactured in 1" (25 mm) size differences.
The Pipestoppers™ Inflatable Stoppers shown below in the following tables have 'no through tubes'.
If you require 'through tubes' in the cylindrical and spherical stoppers or have special size requirements, please contact us or your local Distributor.
